MPM

Along with the local produce, the Montreal Public Markets sell products made from their fresh ingredients.

MISSION

EXPLORATION

Design the packaging for a vegan gummy line to be sold at the Montreal Public Markets.

In the initial phase of the project, I determined what the focus should be for the packages and how to present them. From there, I proceeded with research and color explorations.

APPROACH

The gummy line needed to be exciting to grab the attention of passerbys. With fun and tasty snacks such as gummies, it’s important that I bring in colors and illustrations to convey the fun and bubbly mood. The package itself has to deter from the classic rectangular boxes, all the while producing the least waste.

OUTCOME

The final result of the line of vegan gummies consists of angular packages filled with a fun personality. Each flavors comes in a 2 color system with a pattern on the sides representing the flavors of the gummies, while the front facing is more focused on typography.

When buyers go to open up the packaging, they will take notice of the repeated pattern on the interior, this time with the colors inverted.
